Thanksgivings/Baptisms
We welcome baptisms and thanksgivings for children and adults! Baptisms happen on three designated Sundays a year. Thanksgivings can be given on any Sunday morning. Click here for more details.

Hanczik is newly retired from
teaching, has great organisational skills and can
make some gorgeous desserts.Doorways:

Emmanuel Parish Church Council (PCC):
Betty Jones is married to Peter and mother to Lyndsay. She helps with the verger duties and is also on the PCC. She enjoys looking after her twin grand daughters and she works at the local senior school.
Margaret Brignall is on the PCC, Deanery Synod and is famous for helping to run the best shop in town. She has the honour of being married to the treasurer and enjoys walking.
Annette Adams is on the PCC and works tirelessly for fairtrade and Tradecraft. (Annette hosts a fairtrade stall every Sunday morning in the church hall).
Barbara Greene is on the PCC. She's
an amazing women who also heads up the prayer
ministry team at Emmanuel.
Steve Hall is a lovely guy, is good with
money and he is
also on the PCC.
Alison Hullah is another lovely lady who
holds fab body shop parties and does a mean pedicure. Alison is
on the PCC.
The lovely Ruth Steere is also one
of our newest PCC members. She loves animals and knows where to buy the
most delicious biscuits.More leaders... we are blessed!:
Norman Shadlock passed away on Wednesday 21st July 2010. He had been looking after Emmanuel for decades. He understood more about church buildings than you or I will ever know. He was a legend and it was a privilege to know him.
